In the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.
TERRAINS
Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, predominantly clayey-calcareous.
MARKETING PERIOD
It is established by the oenologist in relation to the optimal characteristics of the product. In any case not before the month of April/May of the year following the year of vinification.
VINIFICATION AND REFINING
Traditional red wine with maceration of the skins at controlled temperature in stainless steel winemakers.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Ruby red color. Aromas of ripe red fruit and fine spicy notes, with hints of plum and tobacco. Good structure, soft, balanced and with good persistence.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Excellent with appetizers, first courses in red sauce, meat-based second courses, semi-mature cheeses.
