Chardonnay

Straw yellow color with bright greenish hues. Varietal with aromas of exotic fruit, banana and delicate notes of yellow flowers. Fresh, Soft and pleasant. Medium body and good persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif, it has a predilection for fish-based cuisine, in particular for seafood first courses, fried food and mixed grills, but it also goes well with delicate meat-based dishes and land-based starters.

    PRODUCTION AREA
    In the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

    TERRAINS
    Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, predominantly clayey-calcareous.

    MARKETING PERIOD
    January/February of the year following the harvest.

    VINIFICATION AND REFINING
    Brief cold maceration of the crushed grapes, soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

    ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
    Straw yellow with bright greenish hues. Distinct aromas of exotic fruit, banana, citrus and delicate notes of yellow flowers. Fresh, soft and pleasant. Medium-bodied and good persistence.

    FOOD PAIRINGS
    Excellent with all fish-based cuisine, from fish and shellfish appetizers to seafood risottos, it also goes well with light first courses and delicate meat-based dishes. Excellent as an aperitif.
